Branding Campaign
Description
WTMD needed clutter crushing creative to grab the attention of listeners and non-listeners to create buzz and sampling.
The Planit Agency, who also did work for NPR, donated their services and recruited award-winning fashion photographer Dean Alexander to shoot portraits of WTMD listeners. There portraits were stylized to create an other worldly appearance focused on enlarged ears. Copy was written to gently parody the popular ED drug. The campaign won ADDY awards and was placed in print and web advertising, used as a tote bag thank you gift and even as a billboard banner announcing our new home.
We had over 2,500 requests for tote bags and the banner received over 5 million impressions over six months.
