I didn’t know Mexico Made Rum Too!

As you might know, I got into craft cocktailing a while back.  I guess once you hit your 50s even a good bottle of wine doesn’t hit the sob factor anymore.  As noted in my New Italian Sunday Dinner post, our Sunday afternoons consist of good food and a good cocktail.  It’s the perfect for me and spouse to reconnect, relax and get a little silly.  But one Sunday we decided to go out for drinks and dinner.  We stopped at RYE in Fells Point and after ordering one off the menu, I did what i usually do–tell the bartender to make something they’ve been working on.  Here’s what I got:

A Parnubes Daiquiri

Paranubes is a Mexican Rum that has hints of smokey Mezcal flavors to it.  It’s stuck between bitter and sweet as well.  It’s also quite strong so please… Only one per week.
